Long time finally gonna keep this up.

Hey all been a long freaking time since i posted, I know i probably dont have any regular readers yet but what the hell might as well make this good for when i am one day, FAMOUS. Well as of now i am currently taking a year off MSU to do some work and save up some money. Hope that ends well. Anyway just a short post on the update of all that is my life.

Questions of the Day

1. The coolest thing i have ever made in my opinion is a written story i have that has at this point reached about 100 pages long. As i have mentioned before on this blog I am a big fan of the twilight series and my story is... lets say a spin off of what would happen should the characters from twilight cross my path in my every day life. I have written it from as if it actually happened to me and it is from a first person perspective. I got the idea one day from a friend named Tina I told her i wanted to write a story and she told me i should write a story based off twilight. After i got to about 20 pages i asked her to read it. I wrote about 76 pages during the school year and had a bunch of people asking me daily if i wrote more of if they could read it.


2. This is writing but it is much different from the readings we have been doing in classes. Most of the readings we have done in class have been either persuasive or else informative pieces. My story on the other hand is entirely fiction-fantasy type writing meant to entertain rather than inform or change someones opinion on a matter.


3. Writing in itself is hard to describe. Writing is the placing ideas from your mind and possibly your heart in some situations to paper to create your own point of view that is out there for all to see if you want it to be or kept secret in your room in a small book. The process of writing in itself is a very intimate act for someone to do. It lets you bring your wildest fantasy or greatest of dreams to life for not just you but for anyone who reads what you have written. The act of reading someone's writing is just as intimate as the actually writing process because in allowing you to read their writing it is them allowing you to see what they think about certain things and feel what they feel towards certain people or situations.

Looking back on Tech Audit

The overall writing of the project was actually kinda fun to do. It let me look back on my past and allow me to remember some of my childhood a little better then i do right now. It also aloud me to remember a few friends i might have forgotten about otherwise. It also let me remember a few times that i got to spend a lot of fun time that i had spent with my parents or grandparents or friends or even some time when i got a great gift from a family member or loved one. What I believe I did especially well was putting the story into a actual cronological order. I might have been off in a couple of time frame areas but I feel for the most part I managed to put it all in a timeline fashion. One of the things I think I didn’t do too well with was how I might have rambled a lot about meaningless stuff in the essay like about describing the different things I found as I went or about what a game is. I even for the sake of my paper called my mom and asked her about what age did I get a few games and I ended up with about thirty minutes of her crying saying that she missed me and that she wished I was really little again. All over though I think I did a pretty good job on this assignment.

Gender in Technology

As I have been growing up I have always kind of done what I wanted to do in most aspects. I never really had any issues with people telling me what I could or couldn't do based on my gender then again I never really had that many people in my life who would tell me not to do something based entirely off my gender. My parent, grandparents, and family always told me to do whatever I wanted to do as long as it made me happy. And in all honesty I did not really have that many friends when I was younger. As I was growing up I became the geek and was quickly ostracized from the group of friends I had early on in school so I really never had any friends who were there to tell me not to do something for a specific reason such as its something a girl would usually do. It is really a situation of who you’re with at what times in all honesty, sometimes a friend may be a serious homophobia person who may not want to do a single thing that may make him seem gay to those around him. Other people will merely say okay do what you want to do and let you be happy with whatever it is that you want to do. Most of the time it’s the friends who will say “don’t do that, guys aren’t supposed to do that and the parents who will be happy with whatever you do as long as it is not against the rules.

I have issues writing about myself.

When ever i write things for class weather it be a short story, an essay, or anything at all i guess, I can not write about myself at all. Even now I am having a difficult time writing about myself. I guess it has something to do with the fact that I really don’t see myself as being someone note worthy. I never really stand out in a crowd for a positive reason. For the most part when I stand out it is for being “weird” or for being the “geek”. This has kinda led me to be a very self-conscious person who really does not want to be in the forefront of anything. Because usually when I am in the forefront its cause I goofed something up or ticked of the wrong person for the doing something they did not deem as cool or worth doing or just cause it makes them feel good to belittle other people. But whatever the case people and me just never seemed to get along so that brought me to the point where I don’t like writing about myself cause it draws to much of the focus onto me personally and I have issues with being the center of attention.

I hope to one day work for NASA.
